The Library's wireless network is open to all visitors free of charge and without filters. No special encryption settings, user names or passwords are required. The network is named "Estes Library". Network users must open their browser software and agree to the 'terms of use' before the network will become available.

The library's wireless network is not secure; it is an open network. The Library cannot guarantee the safety of traffic across its wireless network. Information sent to or from your computer can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device, appropriate software, and within the range of the access point. If folders and files on your computer have been configured as 'shared' they can be accessed by others that are using the network.

The Library is not able to provide technical assistance to you. If you need assistance contact the manufacturer of your laptop or software.
