Interlibrary Loan or Purchase
Search Colorado SWIFT   If an item is not available at the Estes Valley Library, try Interlibrary Loan from the Colorado Virtual Library. Items requested from other libraries will be sent to the Estes Valley Library and you will be contacted as soon as the item arrives. Registration is required; click here for more detail.
Suggest a Purchase   Members may request that an item be added to the library's collection. If the item is not selected for purchase then an ILL order will be placed. In either case you will be contacted when the item arrives at the library.
Your Library Card
When the Item You Want is Checked Out   You may place a hold on any item online or by contacting the library.
How to Get a Library Card   Local residents and seasonal employees may obtain a card by presenting a photo ID and a document showing a local address. Visitors may obtain a temporary card by leaving a $25 deposit.

Renewals & Holds   From the comfort of your own home, you can renew items online or place items on hold to pick up later. You can also do so in person, or by phone unless another customer has requested them.
Late Fees   A $5 recovery fee will be charged to reinstate your card after items become 15 days overdue. Items lost or damaged must be paid for in full.
