More than two dozen titles of popular magazines are now available to borrow through the Digital Collections of the Estes Valley Library. These items now join over 600,000 items already available 24/7, including digital books, audiobooks, movies, music, comic books and TV shows.

The digital magazines feature current issues of popular titles, including “HGTV Magazine”, “O: the Oprah Magazine”, “Reader’s Digest”, “Popular Mechanics”, “Popular Science”, “Yoga Journal”, Country Living”, “Forbes”, and more. The magazines appear on-screen in full color with all the same content of the print editions. They can be accessed on personal tablets, phones, and laptops.

A link to this new service is currently featured on the Library homepage at Library patrons who have already been using the OverDrive service—also known through its new app called “Libby”—should find they have account access already set up. New users of the OverDrive service may visit the “Print & Digital Collections” link to learn how to set up an account. Patrons are also encouraged to get one-on-one assistance by scheduling a Book-A-Librarian appointment and bringing their device to the Library (be sure to choose the Digital Collections Book-A-Librarian category). Appointments may be scheduled online through the Library’s calendar or by contacting the Library.

Digital magazines can be viewed in a web browser or downloaded using the Libby app. As new issues are published, they will be added to the catalog.

The Library’s Digital Collections are made possible through the generosity of the Library Friends & Foundation.
