“A store is born” with a ribbon-cutting celebration and proclamation on Tuesday, April 9 at 10 a.m., followed by activities all day, as the Library Friends & Foundation Used Bookstore opens to book lovers and bargain hunters. The community is invited to join the festivities on April 9. Here are fuller details:

10 am – noon: Proclamation, Ribbon Cutting, and Bookstore Name Unveiling

Noon – 2 pm: Create a 3D-printed Bookmark (first 100 visitors)

2 – 4 pm: Hands-on Book Crafts with Library Staff

3:30 pm: Booksale Storytime for Families

5 – 7 pm: Wine Reception for Library Lover Members *

Featuring live music with Dahlby & Nadine

* To attend 5-7 pm, become a Library Lovers Member in advance with your $100 donation, and receive a commemorative Bookstore Book Bag
